Models and Sculpture

This gallery contains a small selection of my sculptural and casting work. Most of these pieces were produced for my former project, Sea Serpent Studios. I sculpt sea creatures initially in clay (either a polymer clay such as Sculpey or wax/oil-based clays such as Monster Clay or Prima Plastilina). Sculpts are then molded in silicone or urethane rubber (depending on the material to be cast in it), and final casts are made in either silicone (platinum cure) or resin. I use Smooth-On products, including Dragonskin and EcoFlex silicones, and a variety of urethane and epoxy resins.

I have also been practicing digital 3D modeling and sculpting, using programs such as Sculptris, Maya, and Mudbox.
